I have been a qualified therapist since 2003, I have lectured for Newcastle college (part time) on diet and nutrition and therapies. I have a passion for food and total respect for the power of good nutrition. The right foods and fats can either heal you or slowly kill you and I can help you to help yourself to make the right choices.

Every one of us is different and unique; for this reason a full and detailed health history report is noted and a tailor-made programme can then be offered to help you on the right road to powerful and positive lifestyle changes. Where necessary a nutritional prescription can be provided to further support the progress of your healing and health.

I feel it’s important to always offer your best. That’s why I regularly attend continuing professional development training seminars and courses. For the future I hope to be able to offer more and plan to train in the following areas:

I will be one of the main teachers at our school, which is nearing completion, and look forward to offering to other therapists some of the best training. Helping therapists to improve their skills and take better care of their clients will be most satisfying. I will initially offer training courses in ear candling, otoscope training and crystal therapy.

Many of my clients have been amazed at the results of some products that I’ve made – all totally natural! Face Food is fast becoming a firm favourite. I will continue research and product development in this area and hope to launch a range of natural aromatherapy based shampoos, conditioners and soothing eye gels for general sale in the near future.

I am proud to have built a reputation on word of mouth with very little advertising. The fact that I have such love for people and that I’m totally non judgemental helps people to relax easily and goes a long way to building a trustworthy relationship. With this in mind you can be confident in the knowledge that I will endeavour to help clients on the road to recovery in a genuine, supportive, caring and professional way.

Sharon Jayne Mountford MICHT

I have been a qualified complementary therapist since 2001 whilst continually building upon my portfolio of treatments and established client base. I am a qualified teacher in adult education with a working history and qualification in training and development. The training I provide therefore is of a high standard and is delivered with true passion and commitment. I am also a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui Reiki System and provide training at all levels. I am currently training to become a Naturopath Doctor and Herbalist having already successfully completed a year in medicine. This is so that I can offer different approaches to treating health conditions as naturally and safely as possible in order to restore harmony within the body and mind.
